This Privacy Policy applies to the BMI Calculator feature within the mobile application (the “Application”) developed by Bhashkar Rao (the “Service Provider”). This feature is provided as a free tool and is intended for informational purposes only.


BMI Calculator

The Application includes a Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculation as part of its unit conversion tools. This feature allows users to quickly calculate their BMI using:
  • Height
  • Weight 

Formula Used:
BMI = Weight (kg) ÷ Height² (meters)


Example:  
If weight = 70 kg and height = 175 cm
First convert height to meters:175 cm = 1.75 m

BMI = 70 ÷ (1.75 × 1.75) = 22.86
 

The result helps categorize BMI into general ranges such as:

  • Underweight
  • Normal
  • Overweight
  • Obese

Information Collection and Use

The BMI Calculator does NOT collect, store, or share any personal health data such as height or weight entered by the user. All calculations are performed locally on the device. However, the Application may collect limited non-personal information automatically, including:

  • Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
  •  Device type and operating system
  •  App usage statistics (such as time spent and pages visited)
  •  This information is used solely to improve app performance and user experience.
Third Party Access

The Application may use trusted third-party services for analytics and advertising, which may collect anonymized data. These services include:

Data Sharing and Disclosure
The Service Provider does not sell or share personal user data. Information may only be disclosed:

  • If required by law or legal process
  • To protect user safety or prevent fraud
  • To trusted partners working on behalf of the Service Provider under strict confidentiality

 

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under the age of 13.


The Application is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years old. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If the Service Provider becomes aware that a child under 13 has submitted personal information, they will promptly delete it from their servers.

If you are a parent or guardian and you discover that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider so they can take the appropriate action.


Security

The Service Provider uses appropriate safeguards to protect collected information and ensure secure usage of the Application.

Opt-Out Rights

Users can stop any data collection by simply uninstalling the Application from their device.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the Application. Continued use of the feature implies acceptance of the updated policy.
